All India Pre Medical Test in India

All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) is an entrance examination. The exam is organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges around the country.

Candidates must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks in PCB for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The students, who are going to appear in the final exams of 12th, can also apply for this exam.

Application Forms can be collected by Speed Post/Registered Post. To get it by post you will have to send a written request with a Demand Draft for Rs.650/- for General & OBC Category Candidates and Rs.400/- for SC/ST Category Candidates payable to the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, and Delhi along with a Self Addressed Envelope of size 12” x 10”. The request must reach to the Deputy Secretary (AIPMT), CBSE, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, and Delhi.

Candidates should be between 17-25 years of age as on December 31st, 2011. SC/ST/OBC candidates will get relaxation of 5 years.
